A recent netting to assess stock levels in Bircliffe Pond revealed vast numbers of bream, roach, and perch and lots of rudd and tench but a surprisngly low number of crucian carp. As a result the club has taken action to improve the crucian population by stocking 500 x 5 to 6inch fish and will continue to monitor the situation in the future.
