About Membership
Membership of our club is open to everyone. We are always seeking new members and welcome anyone who wishes to join. Potential new members may be interested to know that as members they will be able to bring a junior, up to the age of 16 years with them to fish free of charge, other than for carp. This can be family or friend. Members can also bring a guest by prior booking with the office. See rules for details
We have various permits available where membership runs from the 1st of April each year until the 31st of March the following year. The following full prices are for the 2023 – 2024 season.
A carp permit includes the right to use 2 rods on the silver fish ponds day or night.
Please note that half yearly, half price, membership is available from October 1st. This is only available through the office, either in person, or online, by giving your details, then mailing a photograph, and paying for the permit over the phone
How to Join Online
Step 01
Please complete our online membership form, we will need the following:
- A digital photograph (to upload)
- Your name & date of birth
- Your postal address
- Your email address
- Your contact telephone numbers
- Details of the type of membership required, i.e. permit
Step 02
Click the ‘Buy now’ button against your membership of choice in the table above and make secure payment online via Stripe.
Your membership will be processed within 3-5 working days and your permit will be posted out by 1st class mail along with a key for vehicular access to Ravenfield Park. Or permits can be collected from the office, please ring before collecting.

*Our husband and wife joint membership has been established for a number of years and will continue to operate under this traditional title. If you are in a relationship that is recognised by law and are able to provide proof of this you will be eligible for this membership category. Please contact our office on 01709 363 788 if you would like further information.

Kilnhurst DAA waters
Membership of Ravenfield Ponds AC gives automatic membership of Kilnhurst and District, however a further key is required to access all of the Kilnhurst DAA waters – River Don, Bakers Pond and the canal car parks and this one costs £4.00 extra, so please add this cost to the cheque amount should you require one. Note: Membership of the Kilnhurst and District Angling Alliance is available separately for those wishing to fish just the Don, the canal and Baker’s Pond, please check at the office for details.
How to Join by Post
Please send the following to the address shown on our location page:
- Member Application Form for 2023-2024
- A passport photograph
- A cheque for the appropriate amount made out to “Phoenix Pavilion”
- A stamped addressed envelope
Your membership will be processed and your permit will be sent out as soon as possible along with a key for vehicular access to Ravenfield Park.
How to Join in Person
Visit the address shown on our location page with the following:
- Member Application Form for 2023-2024
- A photograph will be taken at the office
- Payment can be bank card, or cash.
Your membership will be processed and your permit will be created for you to take away along with a key for vehicular access to Ravenfield Park.
How to join by phone/on line
You can email a copy of your photograph, together with details including your address, DOB, and a contact phone number to alison.newton.phoenix@gmail.com and ring the office on 01709 363788 and pay the appropriate fee with a card.
