Disciplinary action has been taken against two carp anglers found to be breaking club rules.

In the first case Robert Smith has been banned from fishing until his permit runs out. He admitted to fishing with barbed hooks on two occasions and leaving his rods unattended on another.

Kristian Bell was found fishing without a valid permit, leaving his rods unattended, and without barbless hooks. In addition he was unable to produce valid Environment Agency licences. He has been banned for life and the matter referred to the Environment Agency.
