After a series of unforseen problems at Croda which prevented anglers from gaining access access to the canal we are pleased to announce that once again cars can be driven to the pegs. By way of thanks to Kilnhurst and District for their consideration whilst the site was being cleared the builders Gleeson and their site development contractors Sirius have provided a new road together with a locked gate so that anglers can once again park on the bank.

This is a temporary system which we can use until site clearance is completed. Once new houses are established, and they are already being built on the other side of the site, a permanent road will be provided such that anglers can have access at all times in future.
