The addition of some small carp to the Bridge Pond just a few years ago proved to be a huge success. When the carp grew too large for ‘normal’ fishing they were removed by a fish dealer and replaced with small ones again. Unfortunately the last lot to be stocked some three years ago subsequently ‘disappeared’ and no-one has been able to explain why.

Now, in response to suggestions from members, a further 500 small carp have been put into the pond. These are small fish but will soon grow and hopefully improve the popularity of this pond again.
