Despite lots of members looking forward to getting on the bank again and the imminent thaw it’s going to take some time for the snow and ice to clear. Courtesy of Keith and the Landrover I managed to get to the Park on Thursday, after the worste had gone and have taken a few pictures to show what’s it’s like.

But first I’d warn anyone from taking their own car down the lane to the Park, it is a rutted ice rink, even the Landrover was skidding all over!

The hill down to the ponds is not much better.

The ice on the New Pond is so thick Keith could stand on it……without it even creaking!
