About Membership
Membership of our club is open to everyone. We are always seeking new members and welcome anyone who wishes to join. Membership begins from the day you join and lasts for 1 year. Potential new members may be interested to know that as members they will be able to bring a junior, up to the age of 16 years with them to fish free of charge, other than for carp. This can be family or friend. Members can also bring a guest by prior booking with the office. See rules for details
The following full prices are for the 2024 / 2025 season.
A carp permit includes the right to use 2 rods on the silver fish ponds day or night.
Please note that membership will be available from the 1st April 2024.
How to Join Online
You will be able to make payment and become a member online soon, please check our website for more information March 2024.
You will need the following:
- A digital photograph (to upload)
- Your name & date of birth
- Your postal address
- Your email address
- Your contact telephone numbers
- Details of the type of membership required, i.e. permit

*Our husband and wife joint membership has been established for a number of years and will continue to operate under this traditional title. If you are in a relationship that is recognised by law and are able to provide proof of this you will be eligible for this membership category. Kilnhurst DAA waters
Membership of Ravenfield Ponds AC gives automatic membership of Kilnhurst and District, however a further key is required to access all of the Kilnhurst DAA waters – River Don, Bakers Pond and the canal car parks, these can be purchased from the office in person, cost £4, by post by ringing the office, 01709 363788 and paying £5 (to cover postage) by card, or from the KDAA bailiff Alan Tompkins, 07927 660851. Note: Membership of the Kilnhurst and District Angling Alliance is available separately for those wishing to fish just the Don, the canal and Baker’s Pond, please check at the office for details.
How to Join in Person
Visit the address shown on our location page with the following:
- A photograph will be taken at the office
- Payment can be bank card, or cash.
Your membership will be processed and your permit will be created for you.
How to join by phone/on line
You can email a copy of your photograph, together with details including your address, DOB, and a contact phone number to ravenfield.phoenix@gmail.com and ring the office on 01709 363788 and pay the appropriate fee with a card.
