The centre piece is Ravenfield Ponds where there are six angling ponds and two stock ponds, the latter being used to breed crucian carp, rudd and tench to stock the former. The ponds are set out in the countryside, in a beautiful secluded valley, rich in wildlife, and which was once part of the Ravenfield Park estate. Here anglers can fish away from the noise and hustle and bustle of daily life and where the only noise is the sound of birds or the breeze in the leaves.
In addition members also have free access to the nearby Kilnhurst and District AA waters. These consist of another stillwater, Baker’s Pond, two sections of the South Yorkshire Navigation, with more than 150 pegs, and two stretches of the river Don extending to more than a mile of running water barbel, chub, roach and dace habitat.
In short enough variety to suit everyone and for those that like a change they can fish a different peg every day of the year.
